“MOB Recovery Pole”
(Man Over Board)
All sailing schools train the skipper how to get the boat back to the victim in the water, but then what? An injured person in the water may not be able to self rescue and climb a ladder. In big seas the ladder on the back of the boat will be rising and lowering and it would be dangerous to even be in the vacinity of it. Using the MOB Recovery Pole and rescuing the victim on the leeward side of the boat, any person on board would be able to lift the person out of the water and get them back on the boat. The recovery unit comes with a built is winch and requires only one halyard to secure it and make it operational.
